I was born in Nampa, Idaho, and quickly learned that I didn't exactly fit in with my surroundings. Two weeks after graduation I moved to Seattle. I attended the Art Institute of Seattle and majored in Visual Communication, with a focus in Illustration and Graphic Design.

During my time at the Art Institute, I took 2 years and served a spanish speaking mission, working with the latin culture in the San Fernando Valley, CA. An experience that has influenced me greatly.

I joined WizKids in July of 2002, where I experienced the world of gaming, entertainment, and consumer facing products. Starting as a Junior Designer I worked my way up the ranks, guided by great mentors, and learning every step of the way. I became Art Director, where I oversaw all print, web, and even sculpting. In the fall of 2008, WizKids went through a major restructuring.

I then leapt into a new industry, and became Art Director of the Juvenile Group at becker&mayer!, an innovator in the world of the 'book plus' category. Though, only being there a year, I learned a great deal about the publishing industry and gained some great friends.

Microsoft soon came calling and I was offered a chance to work in their gaming group. It was an opportunity I couldn't pass up. So far its been a blast! I'm on contract here until October 2010, but hopefully that will change to a more permanent situation.

I currently reside in Kirkland, Washington with my wife, Joie, my daughter, Jezelle, and my son, Lincoln.
